texture + 40

for this collage-type picture i took 40 (360 degree) pictures of a dead flower pot outside my house. My inspiration was of the person mooney gave us. He did a black and white of a hot air baloon, and it turned out very cool, and this is what i was going for in this picture.
for this picture i had my sister pose for me, and she made this face and started laughing hysterically afterwards. i used a texture of a wall downstairs in the kitchen, and a metal backing to a corkboard in my room.

Montage

This photo was not actually taken by me, but i helped create it. This photo was taken at La Push beach in Washington state. We camped out there several nights, and one night we got bored so we got the idea to do some light painting while it was dark out. We got some really cool shots like this, and eventually stood behind the fire and had my dad and sister stand there and we would paint fun/funny things around them (dinosaurs, cat ears/tail, devil ears, ect.). I did a generalization of what people think of me. I chose this photo because people can usually see i am am creative, which also ties into the camera in the top left. I love taking pictures, it just is a really good way to get the creativity out, and i think it is a lot of fun! the sheet of music on the bottom is to show that people know i can't go without my music. I would go insane if i lost my ipod/music collection. I'm always listening to music. Also, the logic board in thebottom left hand side is to show that i am a geek (in ways). It may not be apparent when you first meet me, but i love tech :P.

ISO

For these i tried to have a higher ISO because it was freezing outside, but some of them (primarily after i had been outside for a while) got a little blurry because i was shaking.
this one is my favorite because i really like the contrast between the red and yellow and the backgrounds black coloring. I used a higher ISO, but somehow managed to retain the detail of the sign.

this one is a bit blurry, even though i turned the ISO the highest i could, which sucks because i now have a grainy blurry shot...
This photo i like a lot, and i turned the ISO up a bit because it was getting a bit darker outside. One thing i wish i could re-do about this picture is to capture some more detail and texture in the branch and the snow.
For this photo i had a lower ISO because it was kind of bright out, and i wanted a lot of detail without it being too grainy.

Compensation

For this one i used a white balance from the snow (equivalent of a white piece of paper) and also turned the ISO down to get some more details in there. I also turned the brightness up a bit, so we could get the background of the trees in there.

This one I turned the ISO up a bit.

I turned the ISO down a little here, and turned the brightness up a bit to get rid of the black in the background, so you could see some of the background instead of the black.
For this photo I put the ISO a little lower than normal. and i turned the brightness down because the one shiny spot of the ornament got too bright.
